Why VPN IPs Get Blacklisted

VPN exit nodes are shared among thousands of users. If any user sends spam, runs bots, or abuses services, the entire IP gets blacklisted. This can cause your email to be rejected, websites to block you, or services to flag your account.

What to Do If Your IP Is Listed

  • Switch VPN server: Connect to a different city or country server
  • Request removal: Most DNSBLs have a self-service delisting form
  • Use a dedicated IP: Some VPNs offer static/dedicated IPs for cleaner reputation
  • PBL listing is normal for residential IPs - it only affects direct mail sending
