Common Questions

Why does my VPN show as "not working" even though it's connected?

Your VPN app may show "connected" but your IP detection might be based on ISP name matching. Some VPN providers use ISP-like names. Try running the full IP Leak Test for a more detailed analysis.

What is a WebRTC leak?

WebRTC is a browser feature used for video calls and peer-to-peer connections. It can expose your real IP address even when using a VPN. Fix: enable WebRTC leak protection in your VPN app if it has one. Chrome and Edge have no built-in switch: use an extension that limits WebRTC to the tunnel’s address - check that it supports your browser version - or use Firefox or Brave, which have the setting built in.
